This lightweight flywheel improves engine responsiveness by reducing rotational mass, allowing the engine to rev more quickly. The standard MINI flywheel weighs 12.3 kg, whereas the TTV version is just 5.5 kg—offering a significant weight reduction and noticeable performance benefits.
Please note: if you are replacing the original flywheel and bolts, you will require shorter ARP flywheel bolts (MINI R50 flywheel bolts) to ensure proper fitment.
